There is a winter coat giveaway on October 25th from 10am-1pm at the Lightstreet United Methodist Church. There will also be an assortment of clothes to choose from. Families with children up to the age of 18 are welcome.
Congratulations to Kayanna Krall and Michael Fritz who will both compete at the PIAA State Cross Country Championships on Saturday Nov. 1. Kayanna runs at 9:30am, Michael at 11:45.
Elementary Art Club is cancelled today after school. Students will be dismissed as they typically are.

At the September 15, 2025 School Board meeting, the School Board voted to make October 13, 2025 an Act 80 Day for teacher in-service. There will be no school for students that day.
The Pennsylvania Game Commission will be host a free educational program on Wednesday, October 1 at 6:00pm at the Benton Middle/Senior High School Auditorium on Chronic Wasting Disease. Please come and learn more about the disease and how it is affecting the local deer herd and management strategies to stop the spread.

All busses this afternoon are running a few minutes behind schedule due to an issue with bus 1 and making sure everyone was accounted for.
Bus 1 is going to be approximately 20-25 minutes late this afternoon.
