Hello Tiger Families!
Here are a few important updates and reminders to share as we move into the end of October and the start of a busy holiday season.
Fall Festival
Due to the weather forecast, Fall Festival events will be held indoors.
The parade will still be held at 2:00 unless the weather is inclement. Updates will be shared if that changes.
Parents attending the parade should park behind the school and may enter the gymnasium to pick up students after the parade. Students leaving with parents will be dismissed by grade level from the gym.
School Reminders
The end of the 1st marking period is this Friday. Please encourage your child to finish strong!
Parent-Teacher Conferences will be held on November 17th from 11:30 AM-6:30 PM. Teachers will be reaching out soon with scheduling information.
Cookbook Fundraiser
Our students are hard at work creating a Benton Elementary Cookbook! We’re asking families to submit their favorite recipes to help make this fundraiser a success.
Christmas in the Park
Mark your calendars for the Christmas in the Park event on December 11th from 5:30-7:30 PM (inclement weather date: December 15th).
Enjoy a festive evening featuring:
Trees and ornaments decorated by our elementary students
Holiday music from the high school chorus
Warm holiday cheer as you stroll through the park
Donations will be accepted to support our playground fundraiser.
